Bee the Books A Fun & Original way of Reading & Learning For Children

Bee The Books is a new Irish publishing
business publishing fun, affordable, interactive books for children. These books are based on a new innovative design that allows the reader to become the characters in the book. These books have been a great hit with both parents and childcare providers as they offer a completely new experience in reading to children.

Debora Tobin author/publisher came up with the idea for this type of book while reading to her two year old daughter Maggie one day. With the help of her creative sister Hilary Tobin the first prototype for Bee The Book was developed.

Debora was at a 20yr school reunion when she met an old school friend Bernadette O'Neill, an artist and art teacher living in Currow Co. Kerry. She asked if she would be interested in doing illustrations for the book and she agreed.

When the illustrations were finished Emma Collins a talented local graphic designer came on board to help digitalise
the images and prepare the book for print.

It sounds simple but it has been a long road and finally in March 2012 the first book Bee The Book: Farm friends was printed In Tralee.

We are based in Tralee , Co. Kerry Ireland and Bee The Book: Farm Friends is our first publication.
